We understand that your visit to your orthopaedic surgeon can be a stressful one.  We will make every attempt to make your visit with us as comforting and accommodating as possible.  When you arrive at the office, please go directly to one of the receptionists.  There you will be asked to fill out a number of forms that are necessary to provide you with accurate and efficient medical care.  Because of the time required to fill out these forms, we ask that you arrive at the office at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.  To save you some time, this information can also be completed via our secure website

Your doctor makes every attempt to run on time.  Please bear in mind that the nature of orthopaedic surgery does involve emergencies, which can on occasion cause delays.  If there are any significant delays in the projected time that you will be seen, our receptionists can let you know.

After your visit, please check out at the front desk.  There you will be given any prescriptions or paperwork that has been provided by your doctor.  Also, if a follow-up  is necessary, an appointment can be made at that time.  If any additional tests are necessary, our staff will help you schedule them.  If your doctor has recommended surgery or a DME product, you will be asked to meet with one of our surgical coordinator/DME specialists.  Finally, if there are any bills outstanding for the services rendered, this can be taken care of at this time.

After your appointment, you may have further questions.  You may go to our website to the patient education site to answer your questions or to reinforce what your doctor has discussed with you.  You may also call the office if your questions are not adequately answered.  Some of your questions can be answered not only by your doctor, but also by our office staff or the physician assistants who work closely with the physicians.
