In the event of an emergency, call 911 and get to the NEAREST hospital.  Keep in mind that this may not necessarily be Lenox Hill Hospital.  If necessary, you may be able to transferred to Lenox Hill Hospital after you have been medically stabilized.

Your doctor or someone covering for your doctor is on call for orthopaedic emergencies at all times.  If you have an orthopaedic emergency and are calling our office outside of our hours of operation, our service will answer and you may have your doctor paged.  If after paging you have not heard from your doctor within 10 minutes, please call the service again to have your doctor paged again.
